2006 Gala
More than 500 Divine Mercy Care supporters turned out for the Third Annual Gala held at the Dulles Hilton on Veteran’s Day weekend, November 11, 2006. With a “harvest theme” and a touch of patriotism, the evening climaxed with the presentation of the Susan M. Torres Award winner, Kristin Page. The Divine Mercy Care Award was presented to Loren and Mary Alice Poulsen, a long-time patient, past gala chair and donor. More than $175,000 was raised for the charitable healthcare operations of Divine Mercy Care.
