Charity Care

The transformation of hearts through health care requires Divine Mercy Care to practice good medicine, providing services to the underserved, and being faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church. Our commitment to the underserved is part of our core mission…not something that we do after we have performed our mission. Both of our entities, Tepeyac Family Center and DMC Pharmacy have charity care programs in place which allows them to serve those who cannot afford the services.

Tepeyac Family Center, as an OB-GYN practice, is where "the rubber meets the road" for women who are in crisis pregnancies. The crisis may be for many reasons, but at Tepeyac Family Center, each patient is treated with the respect and dignity deserving of the human person. Many of our charity patients come to Tepeyac Family Center through pregnancy help centers (Crisis Pregnancy Centers - CPCs). This outreach programs of these crucial pro-life organizations. provide the opportunity for Tepeyac Family Center to focus on the medical intervention for these woman while the CPCs assist in other forms of assistance. One aspect of this assistance in which Tepeyac participates is their Baby Basket Program started by several of the staff on their own time in order to provide a basket of tangible needs for moms who come through our program. The cost of the Tepeyac Family Center charity program has already exceeded $350,000 for 2008. It relies on the charity provided to Divine Mercy Care to continue its operations.

DMC Pharmacy provides charity care in cooperation with several of the tax-exempt charity organizations in the area providing low-cost pharmaceutical products to those in need with Divine Mercy Care's donations allowing DMC Pharmacy with the ability to recoup the costs of the program.

As a tax-exempt business, we rely on your donations in order for us to carry our out charity care. On the right are various ways in which you may donate to us. If there is another way you wish to donate, or you cannot find what you are looking for, please contact our development director, Vince Criste, at .
