Join Aslan’s Army!
Aslan’s Army is a pro-life church outreach and education program of Divine Mercy Care, whose goal is to enhance all the churches’ pro-life initiatives through:
- MEDICAL CARE
Tepeyac OB/GYN serves all women through its full-scale pro-life OB/GYN care.
- EDUCATION
We give talks from pro-life perspective on topics such as ethics, medicine, and the business of medical care.
- FUNDRAISING
Divine Mercy Care’s Support a Mom program raises money to help subsidize the OB/GYN care for the 200+ uninsured or underinsured women whom Tepeyac sees each year.
Mission
Aslan’s Army is an ongoing partnership between your church and Divine Mercy Care, which fundraises for Tepeyac OB/GYN. In honor of the dedicated believers committed to justice and service in Christ, we have named this program after Aslan, the Christ-figure hero of C.S. Lewis' Narnia series. This program is dedicated to supporting the pro-life movement through:
- promoting the women’s healthcare service provided by Tepeyac OB/GYN
- educating the churches on pro-life topics and medicine, and
- helping expecting mothers in need –and their families—through financial support.
Activities & Next Steps
We ask each church within our network to promote the Tepeyac practice, its doctors, and their various speaking and educational engagements. Churches may also choose to host such events or have a speaker from Divine Mercy Care or Tepeyac as part of their own regular pro-life gatherings. We also ask church members and leaders to consider supporting moms in need through our Support a Mom program. The approximate cost of care for one mom is $7,500 over the course of 12 months. Through our relationship with churches, we are better able to raise awareness about pro-life medicine as well as to direct and enable better care for families.
